Love In Action
Vision
As people of faith, we are called by God to pray and work together for the SHALOM of our nation's most vulnerable communities. Shalom is peace, harmony, wholeness, completeness, and prosperity. We see individuals reconciled to God and fully engaged in helping themselves, their families, and their communities flourish.
Our mission is to create safe, thriving community where all children and families are safe and supported to realize their dreams, aspirations and purpose.
Mission
What We Do
We work through individuals, organizations, and faith communities to implement strategies that strengthen families and communities. We start by listening to understand the internal and external barriers our communities face. This means being present and building relationships before providing programs and solutions. In our community, it is adopting a local school, providing summer employment for youth, offering parental education to fathers, providing transitional housing to returning citizens, and working with new and existing churches.
