Project 450/15

 

Project 450-15 is a neighborhood beautification program designed to restore the vibrancy of the physical environment. It is the result of an on-going partnership with mission organizations and churches. The name comes from the funding methodology initially used to paint the first house—$450 and 15 volunteers in one week.  To date, through Project 450/15 COA has painted more than 90 homes in the St. Claude neighborhood.

 

Teams are welcome throughout the year.  Groups of any size can find plenty of work to accomplish during their time in New Orleans.  Volunteers leave with a greater understanding of God’s unconditional love and their own power to effect change in their local communities.
