Earlier this year Compassion Outreach of America began a Community Transformation project in Lake Charles, Louisiana. We began by creating a food distribution center, serving over 125 families every Wednesday. As we built relationships with those in the community, we began the needed community assessment work to discern how we can best be of service to the neighborhood.
Hurricane Laura brought significant damage to our facility, but our commitment to the community has not been diminished. I am asking you to partner with us to help deploy part-time staff to help with building repairs, volunteer coordination, and community engagement.
Our goal is to raise $10,000.00 to support this work through the end of the year. Please consider partnering with us!
